Director Boyapati Sreenu, who had given two effectiveness films with a tenderness pinch similar to Tulasi and Bhadra has once again tried his labourer on action-packed theatre art with Balakrishna as hero. No doubt, the Simha is better than the fresh duds of Balayya, and at the same rhythm the tape has nothing callow in the course but a complete beaten track. The manager has made use of all the cinematic liberties in event the gag with the hero and in the flashback his father, hacking as many as some 400 to 500 mobile vulgus either with a lambaste / sword or a hunting sickle. Srimannarayana (Balakrishna) is a professor in a college. He doesn’t grant injury before his eyes.
Janaki (Sneha Ullal) joins the college. Once some goons try out to carry off her but Srimannarayana saves her. She falls in inclination with him in no time. Incidentally, Janaki is none other than his sister-in-law and on one occasion, Srimannarayana comes to comprehend from his granny (KR Vijaya) that he belongs to the Bobbili clan.
His padre Dr Narasimha (Balakrishna) is a emancipator of poor. He could dispatch surgery to redeem dazzle and he could also saddle-horse kin if they do wrong. Unfortunately, two sons of a specific mafia chairman Veerakesavudu (Aditya Menon) go the way of all flesh in the hands of Dr Narasimha for their excesses and in exact retribution Veerakesavudu kills both Dr Narasimha and his helpmeet Savitri (Nayanatara).
Before his death, Veerakesavudu tastes the perforator of Dr Narasimha and goes into comma. Will he leave behind his consciousness ? Will Srimannarayana goes to village? Will he league Janaki? What happens next will genre the gripping put of the movie. PERFORMANCE: Balakrishna, after a wish time, has given sprightly completion.
He played dual roles as frame and son. He excelled in both the roles. However, ageing is evidently manifest during close-up shots. However, maestro ensured to elevate both the characters with symmetrical ease.
Sneha Ullal is okay for looks but she still needs to rehabilitate her acting skills. Especially, she should be more heedful on her lip sync. Namitha played another fascinating task in the film. But she appeared unequivocally unwieldy despite showing her oomph.
She is yet to realise the episode that she has to ooze the fat. KR Vijaya was the experienced choice for the grandmother’s role and she lived in the role and did complete justice to her role. Aditya Menon and Malayalam artiste Saikumar showed thorough telly presence. Rahman is okay as Balakrishna’s brother-in-law.
Nayanatara, though had a very modest position in the film, is okay in her character. Comedy by Krishna Bhagawan, Ali, Venumadhav is just common and in fact they failed to please the zany bones. TECHNICAL: Chakri has composed silvery tunes to all the songs, though they put in mind of us of 80s and 90s Songs. Choreography of all the songs is okay and Balakrishna tried to show that he could joust with Junior NTR in dances by worrying some innovate steps.
Action by Ram-Lakshman and Stun Siva is fine. Especially the follow scenes, the scenes that refer to to star bashing the villains and the grisly killings were letter for letter shot. Background score by Chinna is adept and elevated the mood in many scenes. Camera by Arthur Wilson is excellent while know-how by AS Prakash is laudable.
Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao should have a mean more sharp. Though the premier half is okay, it appeared a young stretched. However, the movement scenes in the alternative half made the audiences disregard the stretching of scenes to some extent. Director Boyapati Sreenu, who penned the screenplay and dialogues for the peel not counting providing story, had deft spellbind on the entire subject, though the narration appeared quondam fashioned. REMARKS: It appears that two scenes were lifted from the blockbuster Magadheera, where the principal kills 100 soldiers single-handedly.
Even in this film, the ideal kills many goons as the leading actress wishes that she wants to get everybody lukewarm before her death in the flashback furor and it repeats in the climax episode as well. The film also have some punching dialogues. The photograph is a satisfactory watch for those who love Balakrishna and his fans.
