Reports are that Paul Gray (aka "#2"), bassist for Slipknot, has died. The is reporting that Gray was found at 10:50 am on May 24 by a caravanserai hand at the TownePlace Suites in Urbandale, IA. No block undertake is suspected in Gray's death, though Urbandale observe are conducting a with the benefit of the Polk County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy is scheduled for May 25 and toxicology tests will be performed as well. Paul Dedrick Gray was born in Los Angeles, CA on April 8, 1972.
He relocated to Iowa where he joined Slipknot whom he has played with since 1995 as "#2" or "The Pig" (base3d on the camouflage object he wore with the platoon for many years). Aside from being one of the three founding members residual in that band, Gray also performed on the songs "The Enemy" and "Baptized in the Redemption" from the Roadrunner United album The All-Star Sessions for the label's 25th anniversary in 2005.
